A cab driver named Dharmendra Porwal tracks down a car using his own number plate after receiving 25 e-challans in 2 years. The car had a fake number plate and the driver had pending fines of Rs 40,000 for traffic violations. The driver was arrested and booked for cheating, forgery, and breach of trust.

No PUC Certificate: The transport department in Delhi plans to install cameras at 25 petrol pumps to track and penalize vehicles without valid pollution under control (PUC) certificates. This comes after data from a pilot project showed that 15-20% of vehicles entering four petrol pumps did not have valid PUCs. The department is also working on generating e-challans to send to violators automatically. The move aims to reduce pollution and ensure compliance with PUC regulations. Currently, there are over 950 petrol pumps in Delhi that issue PUCs.
