Dutch crew completes offshore access tests

Eagle Access has tested its access system on the VOS Star vessel at the Horns Rev 2 offshore wind farm off Denmark. The Dutch company said 150 people were transferred between the ship and turbines, with about 300 transfers made in total including cargo over a three-week period. People and equipment are transferred on a fully electric driven system via a closed cabin with no stairs to climb, Eagle Access said.
