Over the course of time we have spent saluting Central New York's First Responders, there have been many who serve double duty. They serve with multiple fire departments, or split time as an EMT with more than one agency. This week we salute Kyle Riedl who wears so many hats he needs two hat racks. Kyle has been with the Eaton Fire District for 14 years, serving as Chief for the last three years. He is also a full time firefighter paramedic with the City of Norwich Fire Department. See Photos as Momma Eagle Teaches Twin Eaglets to Feed Themselves

It seems most appropriate with Mother's Day nearing to share some pics of Moms in the wild.  Thanks to our wildlife photographer, William Straite, we see a momma eagle teaching her five week old twins how to feed themselves. William shared the story of these twins, born along the Susquehanna River, when they were about three-weeks old. Now, just two weeks later you can really see a difference in the babies. Most of the white fuzziness that made them so cute is gone and the awareness in their eyes as they learn to feed themselves reminds you of the fierce raptor they will become.
