St Mary's site in Shaftesbury PLANS for a new special school for Dorset children at the former St Mary’s private school near Shaftesbury have been backed by Dorset Council. Thousands of people across Swindon will be offered supermarket vouchers ahead of the half-term. The borough council received £624,935 from the government as part of the Covid Winter Grant Scheme to support families with the cost of food and fuel during the Christmas and February school holidays.
