After 50 years in public education, Carey Wright is retiring June 30.
Wright has held the position since 2013. The State Board of Education will announce their search and hiring plan to replace her soon. Mississippi's State Superintendent of Education Dr. Carey Wright will retire effective June 30, 2022. She has worked in the education field for 50 years. The Mississ
