An intensive heatwave has gripped India, with temperatures touching nearly 50 degrees Celsius in some of the northern parts of the country. Data from the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shows that India recorded 60 heat-related deaths since 1 March. But experts say it is difficult to diagnose such deaths and that the real numbers are likely far higher
