Gov. Charlie Baker will tour the vaccination site at Oceanside Events Center in Revere and hold a news conference alongside other state and local leaders.
Joining Baker are Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, Secretary of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders, Revere Mayor Brian Arrigo and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center President and CEO Manny Lopes.
Baker plans to provide an update on the state’s vaccination efforts. The press conference was scheduled to begin at noon.
Active infections in Massachusetts dipped slightly to 34,652 on Tuesday, down from 35,167 reported on Monday after the state missed a day of reporting due to the Easter holiday. Since the pandemic began, officials have confirmed 609,533 total COVID-19 cases across the state.
