9 & 10 News April 23, 2021 up nearly 500 banners in cites around the Eastern Upper Peninsula. The latest city to jump on board is St. Ignace in Mackinac County. Abby Baker is the founder, and she is working with local leaders and Native American tribes to honor those who have served, or currently serving our country and have roots in the area. 24 total banners will be displayed, and there are 15 more spots available. Six GR Area Teams Still Alive In High School Hoops Finals The boys and girls high school basketball tournaments hit the Final Four stage in each of the four divisions this week, and six Grand Rapids teams are still in the hunt for a title.
