A fire incident occurred at 48 Breadfruit Street, Apongbon, Lagos Island on Monday as a result of "careless handling of a generator."
A three-storey building located at Breadfruit Street, Balogun Market in Lagos State was gutted by fire on Monday afternoon. A press statement made available to SaharaReporters by Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service disclosed that the fire started from the second floor of the building. The statement added that the inferno was caused by a generator and no casualties were recorded from the incident.
