A Trumbull police sergeant turned himself into police Tuesday after a warrant was put out for his arrest, and a former volunteer fire captain turned himself in Wednesday stemming from an alleged sexual assault in September 2020, according to a release from the Shelton Police Department.
Howe Avenue was closed while firefighters worked at the scene, an official said.
