Minneapolis Public Schools said Sunday that North High School Principal Mauri Friestleben will continue to lead the school through the end of the school year.
After a weekend controversy and talks of a protest, Mauri Friestleben will be resuming her duties as Minneapolis North Nigh principal starting on Monday, the superintendent announced Sunday.
The volley between Minneapolis Public Schools and Friestleben began after it was announced she would not return to North High School in her position as principal.
David Law is leaving for Minnetonka Public Schools.
Rochelle Cox, through her current role as associate superintendent, oversees 21 elementary schools and has been with the school system since 1997.
