General manager Ben Doornbos said the ski area was able to open by mid-November in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons, but the necessary snow making could not start until Nov. 23 this year because subfreezing temperatures have been slower to arrive. Nubâs Nob plans to open on Saturday, Dec. 12.
