A CASE of alleged attempts at perverting the course of justice by a retired Garda Superintendent and four serving Gardaí has been adjourned.
A PRE-TRIAL of a retired Garda Superintendent and four serving Gardaí was today adjourned due to a one-day industrial action by barristers.
The four gardaí and the retired Garda are charged with a total of 42 criminal counts relating to the alleged squaring away of fixed charge penalty notices for a number of various people.
THE TRIAL of five Gardaí, charged with more than 40 counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice, will take close to eight weeks.
