The Kakamega Small Claims Court (SCC) has paved the way for businessman Robert Lutta to auction Mumias East MP Peter Salasya’s Land Cruiser after rejecting the MP’s application to halt the process.
Peter Salasya faced legal troubles as auctioneers obtained court orders to auction his property. The court has entrusted Armok Auctioneers with the process.
Kakamega Resident Magistrate Gladys Kiama Nashipai filed a complaint last week, leading to the police summoning MP Salasya to provide a statement on the matter.
Salasya is accused of threatening to kill a Kakamega-based magistrate.
