It's Official: The First Three Licenses Were Issued to Operators in Sweden
Sweden's Spelinspektionen has granted the first three licences for gaming software, with SkillOnNet and Synot Games being among the three companies awarded accreditation. The Riksdag decided to introduce licensing in November 2022 in order to reduce illegal gambling activity. Players can now be confident playing legally sanctioned games whilst protecting themselves from fraudulent activity.
