Islamabad: Ehsaas Nashonuma steering committee met for the first time on Monday to discuss scaling up the initiative to other nutritionally vulnerable districts in the country.
SAPM Dr. Sania Nishtar chaired the introductory meeting of Ehsaas Nashonuma steering committee. Two federal ministries and six provincial ministries came to the table along with Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, the World Bank, World Food Programme, World Health Organization, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, Federal Expanded Programme for Immunization and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund and Nashonuma operations team from BISP.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar on Tuesday inaugurated the Ehsaas Delivery Unit (EDU) in Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD) that has been established to track the cadence of delivery across several components of Ehsaas programme.
The Unit was formally opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Islamabad.
The Secretary of the Division Muhammad Ali Shahzada together with the EDU team was also present at the ceremony to kick off the newly opened unit. ....

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Around 48 Ehsaas Nashonuma Centers were being established in 13 districts of the country to provide health services and conditional cash transfers mainly to prevent children from stunting growth issue.
This was revealed during the introductory meeting of Ehsaas Nashonuma steering committee held under the chairmanship of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar.

Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar launched Ehsaas National Socio-economic Registry survey in South Waziristan to benefit locals by registering them under its multiple initiatives.
During her visit to Tank and South Waziristan, the SAPM also met with four tribal Jirgas and sensitized their elders and influential about the purpose of the ongoing survey, said a news release received here.
Addressing the Jirgas, she appealed them to facilitate survey teams in door-to-door collection of household data.
“Poverty profiling of the households was being done through a computer-aided digital system and would be completed in the next few months,” she noted. ....

Islamabad : Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Dr. Sania Nishtar made a visit to Dera Ismail Khan and briefed local media on the ongoing ‘Ehsaas’ survey in the district.
She interacted with the local press and media to create awareness on the Ehsaas National Socio-economic Registry survey, and to answer their queries regarding the end-to-end digital survey.
Later, Dr. Sania visited a survey site outside the district in Thoya Fazil area to inspect the digital registration of the local household through survey. She also checked data security and transparency checks built in the design, execution and monitoring of the computerised survey. Overseeing the survey driven registration process, she spent time with the surveyed household and described the purpose and apolitical nature of the survey intervention. ....
