Slack began testing its AI companion last year as a feature that would provide users with summaries of channel conversations. It has finally made the service available with several new additions.
New Slack AI could be a major time-saver
Enterprise messaging platform Slack is debuting Slack AI, its artificial intelligence tool to help users find information more easily.
Slack is adding three new AI features as part of a paid add-on: You can use AI to summarize searches, channels, and threads.
The two new features, still in the research phase, are expected to help developers do prompt engineering faster, thereby speeding up the development of generative AI applications.
