Rotich was charged with two counts of obtaining goods by false pretense and issuing a bad cheque worth Sh351,000. Before chief Magistrate Linus Kassan, Rotich was charged that on August 3, 2018 at Eldoret, he purchased 14 tyres and a lorry battery worth the stated amount at Eri Supplies limited and falsely pretended to be in a position to pay. ....
