A retired husband and wife from Idaho who are renowned for finding the bodies of drowning victims when no one else can have arrived in Vernon to search for the body of Eli Buruca.
"I think when it comes up that'll be like the hardest moment, I think," she said. "And bringing him up to the surface and all that process."
A 26-year-old Calgary man living in Vernon, B.C. is presumed drowned after he became separated from his friends while kayaking last month.
The family is now pinning their hopes on Gene and Sandy Ralston, an American couple who specializes in recovering drowned victims using side scan sonar equipment.
