Neighbor helping neighbor Would you like to help someone who is unemployed or who has lost her or his job because of the COVID-19 pandemic? Our United Way of Southwestern PA has the ”Emergency Basic Needs Fund” that is doing just that. Neighbors can apply for help with housing needs, utility needs, food needs, etc. With our government haggling over pandemic financial assistance, we can certainly step in now to help our neighbors on the local level.
