Integration of an Energy Modeling Tool in a State's Power Sector Planning Process—A Tamil Nadu Case Study
This paper explores four low carbon scenarios analyzing the impact of varying levels of renewable energy penetration for Tamil Nadu's electricity sector till 2030. Such energy planning exercise could potentially inform the state in development of new policies, capital investment plans, budgets, multiyear tariff orders and decarbonization pathways.
