After a rocky start, the Emo Fair is underway, and planning is full speed ahead. Angela Halvorsen, board member of the Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society, said they received the go ahead in early July and since then they have been hustling to pull everything together in less than two months. “Generally, we have a year to plan the fair and because we started planning about three weeks, we’re scrambling a little bit to try and get things in place,” Halvorsen said. Halvorsen said she has been updating the information on the website and Facebook page as more things get planned.
