HOMES: Hundreds of empty homes in Worcester HUNDREDS of empty houses in Worcester should be used to help solve the national housing crisis, campaigners argue. Action on Empty Homes' analysis of Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) figures show that 781 homes in Worcester were not being used as of October, up from 675 the year before. Of these, 490 were long-term vacancies, unoccupied for at least six months, and 291 were second homes.
