Royal Enfield, a part of Eicher Motors, reported a 6% YoY increase in wholesales to 75,935 units in February. Domestic sales grew 5% to 67,922 units, and exports rose 13% to 8,013 units. Existing motorcycles contributed to the strong growth. CEO B Govindarajan is confident about a healthy overall performance.
Key provisions of the MoU include the infrastructural support and regulatory facilitation. The government would also prioritise providing uninterrupted power supply and other essential infrastructure support. Royal Enfield, a unit of Eicher Motors Ltd, Monday said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamil Nadu government to develop new products, Electric Vehicles (EVs) products and capacity building.
It has introduced Reown, a new company-operated, pre-owned motorcycle business initiative, that enables existing and prospective customers to buy or sell their Royal Enfield motorcycles, and exchange their motorcycles and upgrade to a new bike with ease.
