Dengue Cases in Punjab Latest News: Punjab is grappling with a mounting dengue crisis, as the number of afflicted individuals surpasses 10,000, causing heightened concern within the health department. Despite the alarming figures, authorities reassure that all state hospitals are providing free examinations and treatment, urging patients not to panic and to seek immediate assistance at the nearest government healthcare facility if they suspect infection.
Nearly 250 dengue cases have been reported in the national capital from December 16-23, taking the infection tally of the vector-borne disease past the 4,300 mark so far this year.
The cases of dengue have seen a significant rise in Delhi-NCR in the past two weeks. This has led to a shortage of beds in government as well as private hospitals.
