Free bus trips to get COVID vaccine available in Washoe starting Monday
Starting Monday, the Regional Transportation Commission will offer free rides to locations that offer the COVID-19 vaccine. To ride free to any vaccination location on RIDE, FlexRIDE or ACCESS services, show the driver proof of your vaccine appointment in a text, email or printout when boarding. For appointments at the Livestock Events Center, enter through Gate 4 on Sutro Street and talk with a volunteer to get the vaccine, RTC said in a press statement.
