Besides promoting the event, the Friday Feature interviewed Greenville Tech - Upstate Returning Citizens Program Director, Sammie Stroud, about working with inmates to prepare them for being released from jail and getting back out in the society. Jan 23, 2021 The Ross County Commissioners meet Monday morning. They convene at 9am to meet with the board of the Lucy Hayes Heritage Center, who had to postpone from last Monday. At 9:30 the commissioners meet with the county administrator, and at 10 will consider the Herron / Tootle Farm Solar Project. At 10:30 Ed Kirker will speak on the Second Amendment. And Wayne McLaughlin will give an update on the Re-Entry Coalition at 11am, then the commissioners will conduct administrative business.

Truist, formerly BB&T, pivoted with its annual Lighthouse Project, turning it into a donation drive to benefit members of our community who are experiencing homelessness.
