Many people are experiencing the sticker shock of higher prices at grocery stores. But the amount we pay for food often does not reflect the real social, environmental and human costs of production.
The bridge replacement project got its start in 2017 with a Lee County Department of Transportation Development & Environment Study to evaluate alternatives for bridge improvements or replacement.
Bay County held a public meeting Thursday as part of phase three of the Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway Project. The meeting which is referred to as the Project Development and Environment Study took place at the Lyndell Conference Center in Panama City Beach where local residents had to chance to ask questions.
A new trail is planned for Bradenton, too. The two trails will be 12 feet wide and will allow for bicycle and pedestrian travel.
