The U.S. Army on Tuesday sent out a request for public feedback on the environmental impact of a new mobile air defense system that will be fielded soon at Fort Hood and other III Corps installations. The Army requests a review and comments on the released programmatic environmental assessment for the proposed fielding of the Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense Capability (M-SHORAD) from government agencies, Native American tribes, and the public before June 18, 2021.
