A major shareholder in Walsall manufacturing group Castings has upped its stake. Ruffer LLP, which is headquartered in London, now has a 20 per cent holding in the listed company, up from 19 per cent. The investment company also has shares in the likes of Solihull-headquartered building products maker Epwin Group and Stoke-on-Trent-based homewares maker Portmeirion.
