FAYETTEVILLE -- The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville section of the Fayetteville Traverse trail will attract students interested in biking and outdoor recreation to the university, said Mike Malone, the university's vice chancellor for economic development.
University of Arkansas president Donald Bobbit recently signed an agreement with Entegrity Energy Partners of Little Rock to build a new 25-acre, off-campus solar panel facility, projected to cut the University’s greenhouse gas emissions by 8.8% and save millions of dollars in electricity
After a competitive selection process, the university selected Entegrity Energy Partners of Little Rock to facilitate the project.
Construction is expected to be completed by early 2024.
The University of Arkansas is getting bicycle-friendly with the future openings of the Fayetteville Traverse Trail and Tsa La Gi Bike Park.
