Northwestern Mutual through its foundation has pledged to give $5 million over the next five years to Children’s Wisconsin to support its MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The gift is the company’s largest single donation in its support for research on childhood cancer and programs for children and families affected by the diseases. MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Northwestern Mutual, through its foundation, announced Thursday, Feb. 25, a $5 million commitment to Children's Wisconsin to support its MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.  According to a news release from Northwestern Mutual, the funding will span across five years through 2025, and represents the company's largest standalone donation connected to its national philanthropic cause of childhood cancer.
