Trooper Joel Rogers, 54, of Bridgewater, retired from the department effective Tuesday after being suspended without pay since last month, according to a state police spokesperson.
Trooper Joel Rogers was one of four current and former state troopers who were federally charged in connection with a bribery conspiracy that gave guaranteed passing scores to commercial driver's license applicants.
