Norwich — A $4 million plan to redevelop the former YMCA on Main Street into the new headquarters for a Baltic construction company
Gov. Ned Lamont visited the former Norwich YMCA, which will receive a $2 million Connecticut Challenge Grant toward a $4 million renovation project.
On Wednesday, the state announced the recipients of the $45 million Connecticut Communities Challenge Grant, which include Norwich and Killingly.
New London will receive nearly $6 million to assist several downtown projects, and Norwich will receive $2 million to revitalize the former YMCA property.
