Manitoba has been pummelled by more than twice the average number of hailstorms this year: Environment Canada
Manitoba saw an average of 43 severe hail events from 1991 to 2020, according to Environment Canada. The province has seen 88 severe hail events — hail starting at nickel size — reported since May, up to the afternoon of July 31.
