On Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, AEW paid tribute to Brodie Lee by dedicating the entire show to the late wrestler, with his former WWE tag team partner, Erick Redbeard, making a surprise appearance and joining Lee's faction, The Dark Order, in paying tribute to the group's leader. As we previously reported, Erick Redbeard made a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, stopping Wardlow from interfering in a match between The Inner Circle (MJF, Ortiz & Santana) and the team of The Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) and Hangman Page. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that this was only a special one-off appearance to have him be part of the Brodie Lee tribute episode. At this time, he’s not expected to make any more appearances, but that could change.

Erick Rowan appeared tonight on AEW Dynamite's Brodie Lee tribute show. He appeared towards the end of a six-man tag team match which pitted Alex Reynolds & John Silver of The Dark Order and Hangman Page against MJF, Santana, and Ortiz of the Inner Circle. Wardlow, who was at ringside, attacked Reynolds as he was making the save for his partner Silver. It was at that moment that Rowan came in and attacked Wardlow, sending him to the back.
