The Wartburg College community is in mourning this week. On Sunday former tennis coach, and brother of athletic director and football coach Rick Willis, Jim Willis died after a battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Jim was only 49. Willis was the men’s and women’s tennis coach from 2002-2007. He was also extremely active in the Waverly community. Jim leaves behind his wife Nicole and three children: Luke, Brooke and Brady. 75-year-old Billie Jean Colclasure of Flora, died Saturday morning, December 26 at Flora Gardens Care Center. She was born March 24, 1945, in Olney. In 1970, she married Ivan Colclasure, and he preceded her in death in 1983. Billie enjoyed coloring pictures, birdwatching, fishing, visiting family, picnics, and watching the “Golden Girls” on television.
