Tax law going into effect Jan. 1 may have outsized affect on small businesses
The Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Rule, which goes into effect Jan. 1, requires certain entities to file beneficial ownership information reports to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), according to a guide released by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
