A former Knox County Health Department official will lead a new office aimed at solving lack of housing for the homeless in Knoxville and Knox County.
The Knoxville-Knox County Office of Housing Stability will lead efforts to prevent and respond to housing instability and homelessness, according to a press release.
From Nov. 1-3, there were 32 reported nonfatal overdoses in Knox County, according to the Knox County Health Department.
