SO FAR this year to date, 20,027 patients have been treated on trolleys at UHL, making it the most overcrowded hospital in the country.

TODAY marks the 100th consecutive weekday in which the UHL has more admitted patients on trolleys waiting for a bed than any other hospital.
Patients with less urgent healthcare needs today are asked to attend Injury Units and consider all other healthcare options before attending the Emergency Department at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), which is currently managing very high emergency attendances and admissions.
