Islanded microgrids face difficulties due to the presence of nonlinearity, asynchronous load, and unknown load dynamics. Moreover, conventional control schemes in the islanded microgrids show slow dynamic response, significant voltage-current oscillations, frequency change, low output power quality, and less reference tracking capability.
