PH logs 425 new Covid-19 cases, lowest in 2021
MANILA-The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday logged 425 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, the lowest recorded since the height of the pandemic last year. Based on DOH's latest monitoring, the active cases stand at 15,800 or 0.6 percent of the total confirmed cases since the pandemic started. The positivity rate had also been below three percent for 10 straight days, pegged at only 2.1 percent on Tuesday based on the 24,442 individuals tested for Covid-19 last November 28.
