Newfoundland increases income support for essential workers January 17, 2021 Newfoundland has increased support for their essential workers, including those supporting food industries. Announced Jan. 12, the province has raised the maximum qualifying monthly income threshold from $3,000 to $3,500 for the Essential Worker Support Program.
