This busy street in Old Dubai has just been renamed Drivers, take note… A popular street in Old Dubai has just been renamed on orders of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Al Mankhool Street is now called ‘Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’, in honour of the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in recognition of his humanitarian contributions and efforts to promote progress and solidarity in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and among Arab and Islamic nations.
