They were on the ground about 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. this morning, 12 hours later they were putting out some very important factual information as a result of getting information from their event recorders or the black box. what was the speed of the train? what was the rating for speed at that curve. and talking about the ptc system and the like. that information came out pretty quickly, but the ntsb personnel indicated, and the board member on the ground they'll have a series of releases of information. we certainly want to have more information before any judgment. there are just some facts here....

What was his work schedule before this event? had he been working a lot of hours that would have made him fatigued? was he struggling with the train, trying to figure out why it was accelerating? because maybe it wasn't an input from him that was causing the train to accelerate. so there is a lot of questions. >> i hear you say, mr. goglia if he is going to talk to us. are you suggesting he may not talk to you? >> well we've heard today that he has already hired lawyers. so the indication were that he may not be fully cooperative. >> let me ask you this. what else will the event recorders tell...

That -- that this train as it was approaching this curve, we are told that is when things went terribly wrong here. as far as how fast this train was going -- and what the speed limit was -- at that very section. that remains to be seen. of course, investigators will have that information. they'll know exactly how fast this train is going. when they, when they retrieved those, event recorders. it's very similar to what you see on aircraft, like the black boxes. that record, what was going on with the train at the time. as far as what could have caused this. that remains to be seen. we do not k...
