Very, very terrible day in new york city over the weekend. but what you do have to look at here is with abdulmutallab, we read him his miranda rights after he was arrested and charged and he immediately clammed up. he may have given us information before then that was significant, may have given us some after that. but basically, he did clam up. and yet we didn't take away from the christmas eve incident a lesson learned about miranda rights. now, all miranda rights means -- it's an exclusionary rule process. it doesn't mean you can't prosecute the guy if you don't read him his miranda rights....
