বলিউড সুপারস্টার সালমান খান। সম্প্রতি এই অভিনেতা, তার বোন আলভিরা খানসহ ছয় জনের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতারণার অভিযোগ করেন অরুণ গুপ্তা নামের এক ব্যক্তি। এ ব্যাপারে সালমানসহ অন্যদের থানায় তলবও করা হয়েছে।
অরুণ গুপ্তা দাবি করেছেন, ২০১৮ সালে প্রায় ২-৩ কোটি টাকা খরচ করে সালমানের ‘বিয়িং হিউম্যান’-এর একটি এক্সক্লুসিভ স্টোর খোলেন। সেই সময় সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে শোরুমটির প্রচার ও জিনিসপত্র সম্পর্কে ক্রেতাদের বোঝানোর জন্য কর্মী দেওয়া হবে বলে আশ্বাস দেওয়া হয়েছিল। এছাড়া সালমান নিজে উপস্থিত থেকে শোরুমটির প্রমোশন করবেন বলেও আশ্বাস দেওয়া হয়।
কিন্তু, এখনো শোরুমে কোনো সামগ্রী পৌঁছায়নি। এ বিষয়ে সালমানের সংস্থার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করেও কোনো সুরাহা হয়নি। তাই বাধ্য হয়ে, গত বছর এক্সক্লুসিভ স্টোরটি তিনি বন্ধ করে দেন। এতে তার মোটা অঙ্কের ক্ষতি হয়েছে। তাই চণ্ডীগড় থানার দ্বারস্থ হয়েছেন ওই ব্যবসায়ী।
এ বিষয়ে সালমান খানের টিমের পক্ষ থেকে এক বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়েছে, ‘সকলের অবগতির জন্য জানানো যাচ্ছে, ২০১৫ সালের ডিসেম্বরে বিয়িং হিউম্যান- দ্য সালমান খান ফাউন্ডেশন স্টাইল কুওটিয়েন্ট জুয়েলারি প্রাইভেট লিমিডেটকে (এসকিউজেপিএল) গহনার গ্লোবাল লাইসেন্সের জন্য নিয়োগ দেয়। পাশাপাশি বিয়িং হিউম্যান ব্র্যান্ডের নামে গহনা তৈরি ও বিক্রির অনুমতি দেয়। ২০১৮ সালের ৩ আগস্ট এসকিউজেপিএল ও মডার্ন জুয়েলসের মধ্যে একটি চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর হয়। এটি বিয়িং হিউম্যান জুয়েলারির প্রথম ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজি। চুক্তি অনুযায়ী বর্তমানের বিষয়টি শুধুমাত্র এসকিউজেপিএল ও মডার্ন জুয়েলসের ব্যাপার। এর সঙ্গে সালমান খান, আলভিরা খান বা বিয়িং হিউম্যান ফাউন্ডেশনের কারো কোনো সম্পৃক্ততা নেই। প্রকৃতপক্ষে সালমান খান শুধুমাত্র বিয়িং হিউম্যানের মালিক। এই ফাউন্ডেশনের ট্রাস্টিও নন।’
বিবৃতিতে আরো লেখা হয়েছে, ‘আমরা মিডিয়ার কাছে অনুরোধ করব প্রকৃত সত্য নিশ্চিত করতে, কারণ কোনো বিপ্ততি ছাড়াই মামলা দায়ের হয়েছে। আমরা এসকিউজেপিএল-এর কাছে লিখিত প্রতিক্রিয়া জানিয়ে উপরোক্ত বিষয়টি পরিষ্কার করেছি। যেহেতু বিষয়টি বিচারাধীন আমরা এই বিষয়ে আর কোনো কথা বলব না। আমরা আরো জানাতে চাই, আলভিরা খান বিয়িং হিউম্যান-দ্য সালমান খান ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতিনিধি। তিনি পার্টনারদের সঙ্গে খুবই আন্তরিক এবং তাদের সবসময় গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।’
