This April, Parkinson’s New Zealand Charitable Trust
(PNZCT) is asking New Zealand to show their support for
people diagnosed with Parkinson’s during its annual Red
Tulip Appeal.
PNZCT is the only national charity
dedicated to supporting the person diagnosed with
Parkinson’s, their carer and whānau in
Aotearoa.
Although Parkinson’s is a progressive
neurological condition which has no cure, treatment is
available.
PNZCT Chief Executive Andrew Bell says over
75 sites are booked throughout the country where volunteers
will be collecting donations to raise much needed funds
which will go back into services for those diagnosed with
