County Executive Tom Nelson says it’s especially critical as traffic has picked up again as the COVID-19 pandemic wanes. “This can be a real problem,” Nelson told WTAQ. “In past 5 years there been more than 13,000 crashes in our work zones.” The proclamation urges people to slow down to the work zone speed limit.
