A PRISONER already serving 20 months has been given a further 20 weeks behind bars. Wesley George Galloway, 27, who is in Exeter Prison, pleaded guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Courts to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The court was told that Galloway inflicted "significant injury" to the "vulnerable individual" in Fore Street, Wellington, on July 11 last year. Magistrates conceded that he may not have known the victim was vulnerable, but he should "take your victim as you find them". AN 80-year-old man has been hit with a £2,231 bill after attacking another man. Harry Sowerby, of Redwood Close, Hemyock, denied a charge of assault by beating when his case was heard at Taunton Magistrates' Court. But magistrates found him guilty of the assault in Taunton on May 20 last year. Sowerby was fined £1,096 and ordered to pay his victim £250 compensation.
